The name of American boy band *N Sync (Orlando, Florida) falls within the same naming category as that of ABBA, although the approach is different. Of all the names of the five band members the last letters were written down: JustiN, ChriS, JoeY, LansteN and JC.Uri Geller claims - and band member Justin Timberlake confirms - that the asterisk in the *N Sync-logo was his idea. 'Put that star on the cover of your next single and feature it in everything you do and you will be Number One,' Geller is quoted as saying.
